2004
The Story Begins
More than two decades ago, Mr. Yushkov moved to the U.S. and managed the custom offshore development for the #1 company in Eastern Europe’s banking and financial market before founding his own firm, Velvetech, in 2004.
2009
Expanding Horizons
The company’s growth was encouraged by partnerships that covered a variety of industries: insurance, healthcare, logistics, and education, with leading companies as the first clients — CargoData, Tradespoon, and Insureon.
2015
A Year of Growth
In 2015, the number of our projects increased. We delivered twice as many tech solutions as in the previous year. Following this, the company also doubled down on the number of employees and expanded its expertise.
2016
Strategic Shift with New Partners
Driven by the importance of partnerships for business and provided services, Velvetech set up successful strategic alliances. We became official partners of Microsoft, Creatio, WorldPay, and PandaDoc.
2017
On the Cutting Edge of Innovation
That year, the team was actively engaged in diverse projects from blockchain and DApps to DeFi and NFT development. Another pool of requests included solutions that relied on AI & ML technologies and IoT product development.
2018
Launch of Velvetech Products
In 2018, we eagerly worked on R&D that reflected such tech trends as the development of AI-based solutions. To customer services, we built a range of ready-to-use contact center products, including Velvetel telephony.
2020
Fully-Distributed Team
Velvetech became a fully-distributed company while remaining its headquarters in the US. We expanded our geography, welcoming on board experts from different locations: USA, Turkey, Georgia, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, etc.
2021
New Perspectives for Business
Velvetech has forged an entire process of internal education to help employees become successful BAs. That year, our company was certified by IIBA as an endorsed education provider of internal training programs.
2023
Reinforcing the Talents
Our team kept gaining momentum. By the end of 2023, we had grown to over 150 professionals, equipped to meet diverse software development needs, deliver viable digital products, and support a spectrum of tech projects.
